At the Launch House, Dr. Kardaras and his team treat both addiction and mental health disorders and offer full mental health services specifically tailored for young adults age 17 and over, including the attendant  screen addiction issues that many young "failure to launch" young adults and their families face today.

We also incorporate integrative and holistic modalities to help people meaningfully move forward in their lives.
 
In addition, we offer residential “digital detox” services for those who have developed an over-dependence on screens and technology and need more supervised and structured support to deal with their issue. At the Launch House’s customized digital detox program, the digitally-distressed client will un-plug, detox, and calm their overstimulated adrenal system by grounding themselves into a more balanced and healthy lifestyle. They will engage in healthy and engaging activities (Dr. Kardaras's "dopamine replacement therapy") and learn to live a more fully engaged life. And if there are any underlying issues that are contributing to the electronic escape, those issues will be addressed as well. 

In Phase 2, clients learn to re-integrate into a more normalized life with more balanced "mindful digital usage" as they reconnect with community supports, school, family and work. The goal is to have the person who had been stuck in a digital prison to be able to fully launch into their lives--at the Launch House!
